The University wrapped up its Spring 2026 Commencement season with two ceremonies honoring graduates as they prepared to begin meaningful careers and make a lasting impact in their professions and communities.
Graduates gathered May 16 for the Thomas R. Kline School of Law Commencement ceremony. President Ken Gormley, professor of law and former dean of the school, delivered the keynote address, encouraging graduates to lead with integrity and purpose as they embark on their professional journeys and assume roles that shape justice and public life. Additionally, Duquesne Kline Law Dean surprised Gormley with an Honorary Degree on behalf of the school.
The festivities continued May 23 as School of Pharmacy graduates crossed the Commencement stage to celebrate their achievements. Dr. Gordon Vanscoy, a 1986 School of Pharmacy alumnus and industry leader, delivered the Commencement address, inspiring graduates to shape the future of the profession.
The ceremonies served as a fitting capstone to the Class of 2026's Duquesne journey, ushering in the next chapter of their pursuit of bigger goals.
