Duquesne uses the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to award financial
aid. Complete the (DU school code 003258).
State and Federal Grants
Students no longer need to start a separate application for the PA State Grant. Instead, Federal Student Aid (FSA) will send your information to Pennsylvania's new GrantUs system when you submit the FAFSA. You will receive an email from NoReply@grantus.pheaa.org to the address you provided on the FAFSA about your to complete the application for the PA State Grant.

The provides a more complete understanding of a family’s financial picture when awarding institutional need-based aid. Duquesne's CSS code is 2196 (cssprofile.collegeboard.org/). Families are encouraged to submit this in addition to the FAFSA in order to be considered for other University scholarships and grants. There is a fee to create a profile, but you may be eligible for the .
Undergraduate students living in the U.S. may submit CSS Profile for free if:
- Family adjusted gross income is up to $100,000
- The student qualified for an SAT fee waiver
- The student is an orphan or ward of the court under the age of 24
